I used prompts that asked my AI to change my original version into a more tailored and specific version. These prompts would ask my AI to restructure my different skills, adjust the tone, and reorganize my experiences. All these changes helped me fit different audiences and reach them on a better level. Between the original and the AI generated versions, the AI reorganized my experiences and put them into categories. It emphasized the transferable skills and reframed simple tasks into special responsibilities that show professionalism. It also added a clearer structure, more polished formatting, and stronger descriptions. Through the process, I learned that prompt engineering is more important than I thought. Like asking for certain sections or naming a target field to get better and more accurate results. I also learned that tailoring matters when you talk to different audiences. Even if they have the same experiences, adjusting your language and focus can make the resume more appropriate and accurate.
